Historically always inclusive European Martial Arts
Historically the martial tradition in Europe has been an inclusive one; the ‘European’ in H.E.M.A. refers to the countries in which the techniques were practiced. It never was and never should be the basis for inclusion of or exclusion of those wishing to study. The evidence in the historical sources is replete with diversity.

The London Longsword Academy started F.A.R., Fighters Against Racism, a network of H.E.M.A. organizations working to keep our communities free from hate, which Steelbound is a part of.
